Amazon is looking for a smart, ambitious individual to join our EU Public Policy team as intern based in Brussels. If you are someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, pays attention to detail and is able to multitask, Amazon is looking for you! Job Responsibility

  • Providing support to our Public Policy team in the monitoring, research and analysis of a broad range of policy issues across the EU
  • Assisting with scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policymakers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting the Public Policy team in working with Amazon's business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals
  • Assisting in the organization of public policy events
  • Organizing and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond it.

Requirements

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or Law or related fields
  • Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
  • Previous experience or know-how from government affairs, EU institutions, politics or tech policy in fast-paced environment is preferable.
