Job Description

Meta is looking to hire a strategic and proactive individual to join our US Public Policy team focusing on White House and US Executive Branch engagement to advocate for policies that advance adoption of Meta’s public policy objectives. This individual will also drive Meta’s short-term and long-term political contribution strategy in partnership with the Policy Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with business priorities. This individual will manage external consultant relationships and ensure strong communication and coordination with the Meta internal partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, monitor, and analyze deeply complex U.S. policy issues affecting Meta at the Federal level
  • Articulate our policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses and internal policy meetings
  • Advise Meta teams on public policy matters to guide development of products, services and policies
  • Represent Meta in meetings with key stakeholders
  • Communicate Meta’s positions in public presentations
  • Develop engagement plans with clear goals, timelines, and messaging
  • Influence and lead cross-functional collaboration across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product, Marketing teams and other internal partners
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to expand Meta’s political footprint and deepen relationships with elected officials and organizations

Requirements

  • 12+ years of legal/public policy experience
  • Experience in U.S. domestic policy development/advocacy
  • Experience in technology and internet related policy issues
  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in political campaigns, legislative advocacy, PAC activities, corporate political affairs, or related fields
  • Demonstrated expertise in campaign finance law and compliance
  • Proven track record of building and scaling corporate PAC programs and political giving operations
  • Strong understanding of political strategy, project management, budget management, and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Business or related field
