Job Description:

A Public Law or Human Rights Solicitor is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Liverpool. The team is nationally recognized for holding public bodies to account, challenging injustices, and fighting for the rights of vulnerable individuals and communities. Responsibilities include working on cases involving actions against the police, local authorities, and inquest work, supervising junior colleagues, and engaging in business development and media engagement.

Job Responsibility:

Focus on cases involving actions against the police, local authorities and inquest work
run own caseload
supervise junior colleagues
business development
media engagement with the press team's support

Requirements:

At least 4 years PQE
experience of working on civil claims against public bodies, court of protection, human rights or public law cases
commercially aware
interest in business development and engaging with the media
