Job Description:

Brookline seeks a collaborative and highly organized Regional Shared Services Manager to support the Metro Public Health Collaborative (MPHC), a shared services partnership among the health departments of Arlington, Belmont, Brookline, and Newton. Funded through the Massachusetts PHE grant program, the MPHC strengthens equitable public health service delivery by sharing resources, coordinating staffing, and developing regional approaches to community health. The Regional Shared Services Manager provides administrative and supervisory leadership to ensure effective coordination of shared services across the four communities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing cross‑jurisdictional initiatives
  • Overseeing grant reporting and budgets
  • Coordinating regional staff
  • Building strong relationships with municipal and community partners
  • Supporting local public health teams through training, credentialing, outreach, research, and project development
  • Representing MPHC at local, regional, and statewide meetings
  • Overseeing required reporting to DPH

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MPH preferred)
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Strong supervisory, communication, and project management skills
