Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward thinking public health lead to join our team. This role is central to improving health outcomes, reducing health inequalities and delivering strategic programmes to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities across our diverse communities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of evidence based public health initiatives
  • Focus on cardiovascular disease prevention (including NHS Health Checks), tobacco control, screening and women’s health
  • Work closely with NHS partners, community organisations and internal council teams to design and implement evidence based interventions that make a measurable impact
  • Improving health outcomes, reducing health inequalities and delivering strategic programmes to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities across diverse communities

  • Experienced and forward thinking public health lead

  • Direct design, execution, and analysis of studies assessing product safety, efficacy, and antimicrobial benefits. Ensure compliance with regulatory and scientific standards
