EU funded project: "Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Capacity of Ministry of Health for Population Based Cancer Screening for Disadvantaged Groups". The project aims to strengthen national cancer screening and cancer registry systems by improving data quality, institutional capacity, and early detection services. It focuses on enhancing cancer registries in line with international standards, expanding screening coverage for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancers—particularly through mobile screening services targeting underserved populations—and increasing public awareness through communication and capacity-building activities, while supporting evidence-based decision-making through data analysis, eTNM implementation, and cost-efficiency assessments. The project will be implemented over a period of 36 months, starting in September 2026, with activities primarily based in Ankara and covering all provinces of Türkiye.
