Job Description

The role of the Public Areas Cleaner is to maintain and clean the corridors, pantries and various public areas and common parts of the hotel. He/she also manages all ad hoc requests from the floor manager to provide immediate assistance with the upkeep of the premises.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and clean corridors, pantries and various public areas and common parts of the hotel
  • Manage ad hoc requests from the floor manager for immediate assistance with upkeep
  • Respect and ensure cleanliness of pantries and storerooms
  • Follow service sequence: removing rubbish bins, cleaning complaints, vacuuming
  • Leave areas impeccably clean while complying with hygiene and safety standards
  • Organise day according to tasks and duties assigned by Housekeeper
  • Work independently according to day's activities and priorities
  • Report any technical problems to House Manager
  • Report customer complaints
