Job Description:

Reporting to the Style Director, as Public Area Style Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces and back of house areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect public areas and ensure quality standards are met
  • Update the status of tasks on GXP
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure operational efficiency
  • Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required
  • Take ownership of guest issues and see them through to resolution
  • Train Room Attendants, Public Area and Porters to become experts in their role
  • Supervise the daily operation of the Style (Housekeeping) department
  • Communicate and coordinate between Style, Welcome Office (Front Office) and Engineering to ensure any guest or maintenance issues are logged and resolved
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols
  • Develop teamwork throughout your team as it grows
  • Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand’s voice is present in your interactions with guests and talent
  • Ensure grooming standards are met with clean uniform and neat personal appearance

Requirements:

  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Confidence interacting with guests
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal English
  • Previous experience working in five star, luxury/lifestyle hotels
