A respected California law firm seeks a Public Agency Attorney to join its established municipal and public agency practice. This Public Agency Attorney will advise public entities on a broad range of governance, contracting, procurement, and regulatory matters while serving as a trusted legal advisor to agency leadership and governing bodies. The firm represents public sector clients across a variety of legal disciplines and is known for its collaborative culture, community involvement, and long-standing client relationships.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise public agency clients regarding public bidding and contracting matters
  • Counsel clients on procurement procedures, competitive bidding requirements, and contract administration
  • Provide guidance regarding prevailing wage compliance and public works projects

Requirements

  • Experience advising public agencies, municipalities, special districts, or other public entities
  • Experience with public bidding and contracting
  • Experience with procurement and public contract compliance matters
  • Active California Bar membership in good standing
