Come and join us as a Multi Drop Driver to help us grow, deliver sales and exceed customer expectations. As a 3.5 ton Driver, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you’ll be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The 3.5 ton Driver role reports into the branch management team and will provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers, and will deliver products to our customers against some very tight deadlines. As a PTS 3.5 ton Driver you will interact with our customers, delivering goods and solving any problems that crop up. Our 3.5 ton Drivers are a fundamental part of our branch teams and at times may be required to help out in branch - serving on the trade counter and dealing with customers over the telephone ensuring that we provide the best service and maximise sales at every opportunity. You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and we’re sure you’ll have some fun along the way!

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager with achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins
  • Ensuring we maintain high standards, creating and maintaining a loyal customer base and providing a first class service
  • When needed, assisting with the general duties within the branch such as serving customers on the trade counter, telesales and ensuring the housekeeping standards are maintained both on the trade counter and warehousing
  • Delivering products to customers against tight deadlines
  • Interacting with customers, delivering goods and solving problems
  • Helping out in branch - serving on the trade counter and dealing with customers over the telephone

Requirements:

  • Appropriate driving licence
  • Previous experience as a multi drop driver of vehicles up to 3.5 ton
  • Clean driving licence
  • Previous driving experience
  • Knowledge of products associated with the plumbing and heating industry (advantage)
  • Commitment to outstanding service
  • Professional, driven and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to interact with customers and solve problems
  • Ability to help out in branch serving on trade counter and dealing with customers over telephone
