Job Responsibility

Performs psychological and/or neuropsychological testing for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
May assist with undergraduate and graduate academic student internships and education
Administration of neuropsychological and psychological measures following clinical protocols
Independently operate and maintain testing equipment, maintain clinical files until test administration and scoring are complete, track testing supplies, and notify supervisor when new supplies need to be ordered
Recording and making specific behavioral observations of patient's behavior during testing
Standardized administration of neuropsychological tests, patient questionnaires, and questionnaires completed by those accompanying the patient (when applicable)
Scoring the administered measures and documenting scores for review by the Neuropsychologist

Scores tests in an accurate and timely manner, including tests that he/she administers or which have been administered by other departmental staff
Performs data entry and program execution for computer-based scoring, and assists in computer entry of test data for record keeping, quality assurance, program evaluation and research
Assists in collecting relevant historical and behavioral data about the patient under the request and supervision of a licensed staff psychologist
Maintains files of current test results and/or archived results in a timely and accurate manner, and protects the confidentiality of all records
