Are you passionate about Psychology and excited by the opportunity to inspire Sixth Form students at a key stage in their academic journey? You’ll teach A Level Psychology to a growing cohort of students, many of whom are encountering the subject for the first time, and play a vital role in guiding them through a strong and supportive induction into Sixth Form study.
Job Responsibility:
Teach engaging Psychology lessons at GCSE, AS and A2 level
Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback and monitoring
Act as a personal tutor, supporting students’ academic and personal development
Develop high-quality learning materials aligned to the AQA specification
Promote positive study habits, attendance and engagement
Work collaboratively within a dedicated Psychology teaching team
Contribute to curriculum development and Sixth Form enrichment activities
Requirements:
A degree in Psychology or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Psychology education
The ability to engage, motivate and support Sixth Form learners
Good organisation, communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusive practice
