Job Description:

Are you passionate about Psychology and excited by the opportunity to inspire Sixth Form students at a key stage in their academic journey? You’ll teach A Level Psychology to a growing cohort of students, many of whom are encountering the subject for the first time, and play a vital role in guiding them through a strong and supportive induction into Sixth Form study.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teach engaging Psychology lessons at GCSE, AS and A2 level
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback and monitoring
  • Act as a personal tutor, supporting students’ academic and personal development
  • Develop high-quality learning materials aligned to the AQA specification
  • Promote positive study habits, attendance and engagement
  • Work collaboratively within a dedicated Psychology teaching team
  • Contribute to curriculum development and Sixth Form enrichment activities

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Psychology education
  • The ability to engage, motivate and support Sixth Form learners
  • Good organisation, communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusive practice
