Job Description

Join a clinician-centered multidisciplinary team of counselors, social workers, and psychologists in Georgetown and be part of our growth as we expand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region! At Ellie Georgetown in Washington, DC, we are clinician-centered, taking care of our staff so that they can provide excellent care for their clients. Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Clinical licensure is required (PhD or PsyD)
  • Experience with completing diagnostic evaluations, scoring and interpreting results, writing reports that clients can understand, and providing feedback to clients
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base from an affirming perspective
  • Candidates must be able to work in Maryland with a Maryland license, or be license-eligible
  • Opportunity to provide supervision to psychology associates and trainees for qualified candidates with a demonstrated history of success with Ellie

  • Providing specialist psychological services to adults experiencing eating difficulties with an emphasis on NICE recommended interventions, recommendations based on research and the wider evidence base e.g. PEACE pathway and formulation driven approaches
  • Keeping up to date with new innovations in the field of eating disorders
  • Fulfilling all the main duties of a Band 7 Psychologist/ Therapist, including holding a specialist case load, offering team formulation and reflective space, where appropriate offer clinical supervision, keeping up to date with Mandatory Training and CPD and contributing to service evaluation and research
