Job Description:

The MinuteClinic Virtual Care Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care services through a remote technology platform, working in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals to independently provide holistic, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, psychiatric and mental health counseling, and disposition planning.

Job Responsibility:

Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing
Provide care coordination of patients with internal and external colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided for all patients
Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients
Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries
Document patient care within an EHR according to MinuteClinic policies and procedures
Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives
Develop program insights and provide process improvement for acute care and behavioral health services
Provide oversight of behavioral health care quality and training to new providers

Requirements:

Must hold a current, unrestricted license in one of the following states to meet minimum qualifications for this position: Florida and/or Massachusetts
Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish may be required
High speed/broadband internet connectivity
Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse roles required
Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
Proficient with information management and technology
Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care
