Join a dedicated team providing psychiatric care in a hospital setting. This locum tenens opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on adult patients dealing with various psychiatric disorders. The role is full-time, with weekday hours, and you’ll have the opportunity to engage in both pharmacotherapy and therapeutic interventions.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and treat a variety of psychiatric disorders including anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
  • Conduct involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint applications
  • Implement treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy and group therapy, with an emphasis on family therapy where preferred

Requirements

  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with a broad range of psychiatric conditions and treatment methods
