We are currently recruiting for a qualified PSHCE Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Dorking from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, delivering engaging PSHCE lessons while promoting wellbeing, resilience, and personal development in a supportive specialist setting.
Job Responsibility
Planning and delivering engaging PSHCE lessons
Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional SEND needs
Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and life skills
Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
Working closely with pastoral teams and other professionals to support pupil progress
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching PSHCE, or relevant experience delivering a similar curriculum
Experience working with pupils with SEMH and/or SEND
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
Suitable references for pre-employment checks
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
