Job Description

Retail Bank is currently hiring for a prudential capital regulatory reporting manager to join their London team on an initial 12m fixed term contract. This role has arisen due to an internal move and is an ideal opportunity for a capital regulatory specialist looking to gain managerial experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and lead a team of 2 analysts
  • Manage and support the preparation and submission of COREP and BOE returns
  • Ensure reporting is complete, accurate and submitted on time, with appropriate review and challenge
  • Coordinate with Finance, Risk and Treasury teams to validate inputs and strengthen end‑to‑end reporting processes
  • Assist in responding to PRA/BoE ad‑hoc information requests
  • Identify and implement improvements to reporting controls, documentation and governance
  • Support the implementation of new PRA and BoE reporting requirements into BAU
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory developments affecting capital and statistical reporting
  • Support preparation of Pillar 3 disclosures and regulatory metrics included in Interim and Annual Financial Statements
  • Prepare reconciliations, summaries and briefing materials for senior management, including Board/ExCo reports

Requirements

  • Prudential Capital regulatory reporting experience and detailed knowledge of prudential capital regulations
  • Proven experience in either management or mentoring of junior team members
  • Strong experience in identifying areas of process improvements
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Qualified Accountant – ideal but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills
