This is a unique opportunity to work within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting, supporting students who require a bespoke approach to learning.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering engaging Science lessons to small groups of students (KS3/KS4)
Managing complex social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Adapting traditional practicals to ensure safety and engagement in an SEN setting
Building strong, trusting relationships with students who have faced barriers to education
Requirements:
UK Teaching Experience: A proven track record of teaching within the UK education system is essential
Strong SEN Background: Extensive experience working with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD within a PRU or specialised SEN environment
QTS/QTLS: Full teaching qualification with a specialisation in Science
Resilience: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
