An opportunity has arisen within the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, for a Provision Lead to join the Construction Department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the Deputy Head to provide leadership within a specific discipline for the development of up-to-date materials and resources to support curriculum development, teaching, and learning
  • Assisting the Deputy Head to improve the delivery within a particular discipline of the schemes of work and the assessment, recording and reporting of student achievement
  • Assisting the Deputy Head to monitor and address attendance, punctuality, and student disciplinary issues in a specific discipline
  • Assisting the Deputy Head to ensure appropriate attention is given to the promotion of equality and diversity in the curriculum in a particular discipline
  • Monitoring the curriculum within a particular discipline against key performance indicators - success, retention and achievement rates and targets

Requirements:

  • A full level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational discipline is essential

  • GCSE A*- C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience of delivery across the vocational discipline
  • Experience of course leadership within the relevant vocational discipline
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships within the group
