Job Description

As Growth Lead at Tandem, you will own growth for one of our core provider categories, with a mandate to expand national market share, drive activation, and unlock commercial impact. You will act as a category GM: defining strategy, allocating resources, and using a wide mix of levers — from inside sales and referral programs to partnerships, campaigns, and product surfaces — to deliver against aggressive adoption targets. This role sits at the intersection of growth, product, and market strategy. You will partner closely with engineering, ops, and partnerships teams to scale what works, experiment with what doesn’t yet exist, and prioritize the highest-value bets. You will be expected to design and execute your strategy across channels, specialties, and tactics, and be directly accountable for top-of-funnel growth and downstream platform impact.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the growth strategy for a core market category, including targets, budget, levers, and results
  • Design and test new GTM motions, including word-of-mouth loops, referral mechanics, channel partnerships, sales forces, and influencer/affiliate campaigns
  • Identify high-yield provider segments and use data to shape targeting, positioning, and messaging
  • Partner with engineering and onboarding teams to improve conversion funnels and maximize user activation
  • Track adoption and engagement metrics, share insights internally, and drive accountability to key growth outcomes
  • Work closely with the rest of our team and CEO to make investment decisions as we balance speed of growth and long-term profitability

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in growth, product strategy, GTM, or business operations — with a track record of owning measurable outcomes
  • Proven success launching or scaling new segments or markets at a startup or high-growth company
  • Demonstrated ability to run and evaluate experiments across multiple growth channels (referral programs, outbound, content, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication that allows you to be an effective participant in both internal debates and external relationships
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates

What we offer

  • Fully covered medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • Memberships for One Medical, Talkspace, Teladoc, and Kindbody
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and 16 weeks of parental leave
  • 401K plan setup, FSA option, commuter benefits, and DashPass
  • Lunch at the office every day and Dinner at the office after 7 pm
  • Offers Equity
