Job Description

Interim criminal prosecutions lawyer to join a Council’s legal team. The role is a 6 month rolling contract to cover permanent recruitment.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister
  • Must be available for full-time hours (compressed arrangements can be considered)
  • Prior local authority experience is required
  • Must have experience prosecuting the following cases: trading standards, fly tipping, enforcement, food hygiene, license breaches
  • Must be able to travel to court in person on a regular basis
  • Candidates will be expected to attend the licensing committee
