We are seeking a Proposals Team Leader to lead proposals and fee submissions for the Buildings business in Sydney. The role is responsible for writing proposal / fee submissions and having accountability for local marketing activities, Pipeline data accuracy and project write-ups. We're looking for a Proposal Team Lead with strong proposal writing and team leadership experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a skilled team of proposals coordinators and engineers to produce high quality proposals / fee estimates, and other business development materials, and client deliverable in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Responsibility
Lead and coordinate proposal and fee submissions across the Building Group in New South Wales
Ensure proposals meet quality, compliance, branding, and client requirements
Manage proposal timelines, contributors, reviews, and approvals
Drive continuous improvement of proposal quality, templates, and processes
Act as the primary interface between the Australian business and the Pune proposals team
Allocate and prioritise proposal support based on deadlines and strategic importance
Provide clear briefs, win themes, differentiators, and client context
Monitor workloads, milestones, and quality reviews

Support maintenance of centralised proposal trackers and reporting
Maintain consistency with Stantec brand, style guides, and QA requirements
Minimise errors through structured reviews and quality control
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best-practice collaboration across offices
Build strong working relationships with team leaders, managers, and business leaders
Support local marketing activities, pipeline accuracy, and project write-ups
Assist with tender portal monitoring and annual subscription renewals
Contribute to team culture, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in an engineering consultancy, construction, or design environment is preferred
Strong proposal writing, coordination, and leadership capability
High attention to detail with a strong quality and compliance mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities and add value to business outcomes
Advanced AI, MS Word and PowerPoint skills
Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach
