Proposals Manager

• Coordination of strategic bids (particularly larger TMC and significant Project Sector bids), including bid programme, quality submission and priced submission
• Carry out hands on bid writing duties and ownership of questions from storyboard through to final submission
• Collaborate with and influence the bid team to establish common and specific win themes, differentiators and effective tender strategies
• Work alongside the Bid Director to manage bid teams
• Develop detailed bid programme with critical path and owners identified, ensuring programme is tracked and monitored on a weekly basis
• Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations and negotiation preparation required as part of the bid submission
• Deliver prequalification and bid submissions, workshops and bid writing activities
• Direct lead of a team of writers, providing coaching, development and guidance
• Review across sectors to maximise cross-sector and cross-bid learning

• Excellent IT skills, particularly significant experience in using Microsoft Word
• Thorough knowledge of work winning procedures and processes including reviews
• At least 5 years working on multi-million-pound construction submissions
• Excellent writing and editing skills, demonstrating ability to form persuasive text in a concise format
• Strong research capability and ability to summarise extensive information in salient points
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Project/Programme Management qualification desirable or demonstrable experience of managing significant projects/programmes with multidisciplinary teams
