Under the direction of the Team lead, Proposals & Business Development, the Bilingual Proposal Writer will primarily be responsible for bid coordination, document management and proposal preparation, with the goal of understanding business processes and practices, assisting with requests from internal clients and winning business.
Job Responsibility
Formulate high-quality written responses for both public and private sector RFPs across diverse lines of business, with a primary focus on driving strategic growth within the Quebec market and leading French-language bid submissions
Manage the bid process by: scheduling meetings, coordinating assignments for bid teams, adhering to timelines, managing documents and coordinating team activities
Prepare client-facing documents using RFPIO, the Google (Docs, Slides & Sheets) and Office (Word, Excel, PPT) suites
Search for and download new RFP’s as required
Conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Team Lead, Proposals & Business Development
Requirements
2+ years’ experience in a related role (document management, proposal writing/business writing/technical writing)
Strong French and English verbal and written skills essential
Excellent Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
Ability to manage large documents with multiple versioning
Ability to work efficiently within short time frames
Knowledge of the staffing industry would be an asset
