The Property Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial property grounds. This position provides a high level of customer service and is expected to be friendly, approachable, and responsive to Guests, Residents, Tenants, and members of the public.
Job Responsibility:
Remove litter from designated trash receptacles
Collect and dispose of litter, cigarette butts, and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and lawn areas
Rake and gather leaves and debris from sidewalks, curbs, and loading dock areas
Use blowers to clear debris from sidewalks and building entrances as needed
Apply ice melt or road salt to designated areas to prevent ice buildup
Assist Guests, Residents, and the public by answering questions and providing directions
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
One to three months related experience preferred
A valid Drivers License
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Close vision, distance vision, and color vision required
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
Must follow safety policies and procedures
Must be friendly, approachable, and responsive
