Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Property Refurbishment Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Headingley. The salary ranges from £34,000 to £40,000.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a refurbishment strategy for the managed portfolio targeting properties requiring modernisation to drive rental revenue increases (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, HMO upgrades, energy efficiency improvements)
  • Add to and build relationships with list of approved contractors to assist in achieving refurbishment opportunities and assist in reactive repairs
  • Project manage refurbishment works from feasibility through completion, ensuring quality of delivery and budget control for the client
  • Ensure all properties meet legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards (fire, gas, electrical, EPC etc)
  • Oversee the maintaining of compliance monitoring system (Fixflo & Reapit) ensuring 100% compliance across the portfolio
  • Support branch staff with technical maintenance escalations and complex property issues
  • Look to Introduce preventative maintenance packages for clients to reduce reactive costs
  • Conduct stock condition surveys/property MOT’s and look to develop long-term asset management plans in company with Property Managers
  • Monitor asset performance (yields, maintenance cost trends, compliance risks) and report findings to leadership

Requirements

  • To lead on asset management matters across the company’s property portfolio, focusing on developing and delivering refurbishment programmes that enhances property rental appeal and adherence to legislative compliance
  • Assist in matters of technical maintenance where required and generate new revenue streams via planned preventative maintenance activities
