Job Description:

A respected and well-established law firm based in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Paralegal to join their expanding and award-winning property litigation department. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services, this department is home to a dynamic team of solicitors and paralegals committed to excellence. Due to continued growth and increased client demand, this is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Property Litigation Paralegal to take the next step in their legal career within a supportive and progressive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the wider legal team in managing a varied and high-volume caseload, with a particular focus on lender support and recovery actions
Assisting in County Court and High Court litigation processes
Preparing legal documentation
Carrying out legal research
Managing case files from inception through to completion
Gaining exposure to professional negligence claims, indemnity matters with the Land Registry, and mortgage possession proceedings

Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience as a paralegal within property litigation or a similar legal field
A law degree or equivalent legal qualification is essential
LPC or SQE1 is highly desirable
Experience supporting litigation files through the court process, ideally with lender or possession-based matters
Strong drafting and legal research skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
