We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multi-family residential property in Plano, Texas. This role involves ensuring smooth property management processes, maintaining high occupancy rates, and maximizing property value. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a track record of success in managing multi-family units.
Job Responsibility:
Manage property operations to meet budgetary goals, ensuring efficient use of resources
Oversee timely collection and posting of rent payments, addressing delinquent accounts as needed
Submit invoices to the corporate office for payment and maintain accurate financial records
Handle evictions, utility cut-offs, and landlord liens in accordance with policies
Ensure lease files are complete and leasing processes are executed properly
Supervise and train on-site staff to meet operational objectives, including hiring and termination decisions
Conduct regular property inspections, including verifying the condition of vacant units
Monitor and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring safety standards are met
Prepare and submit required reports to the corporate office on a weekly and monthly basis
Stay informed about market trends and conditions through surveys, competition analysis, and industry resources
Requirements:
3 + years of experience in on-site property management, with at least 1 year managing a multi-family complex
Must have experience managing a high rise multi-family complex
Proven supervisory experience and a successful track record in property management
Comprehensive knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and industry regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, and Velocity rental systems
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership capabilities
Ability to travel for meetings or conferences, including overnight stays when necessary
Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and attend scheduled corporate meetings
