This is a new role within an expanding team and will offer the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of transformative projects across the country, initially through the managements of newly constructed large-scale housing developments and landbank as they become part of the LDA portfolio and subsequently through active property and asset management over the life cycle of each development.
Job Responsibility:
Provide site/property management and advisory services
Ensure all sites in allotted portfolio are safe, secured and insured appropriately
Directing and working closely with external property/asset management agents
Liaising with contractors, procurement, and management of on-site works
Oversee all site security inspections
Consulting with and directing contractors
Seek competitive quotes for works in compliance with LDA procurement guidelines
Provide support and guidance in respect of planned preventative maintenance
Liaising with Accounts Team to ensure efficient running of operations
Assist in planning management and rationalisation of each site
Review and advise on development proposals
Support development of LDA strategies for property asset management
Ensure statutory compliance
Conduct cost comparisons for all site contracts
Collaborate with internal teams to implement new property management systems
Preparing weekly/monthly reports
Ensure portfolio and external contractors comply with applicable legislation
Proactively develop management and leadership skills
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of Block property/facility management experience
Ideally hold/qualify for a PSR Category D license
SCSI or other professional body membership desired with pathway identified to Chartered/full member status
Excellent relationship management skills (both internal and external)
Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
Sound financial understanding in terms of budgeting and financial management
Understanding of title and OMC company and legal documents
Broad knowledge of general property management skills across varying markets
Good technical proficiency to enable communication in technical terms
Detailed knowledge of best practice in Property Management
Working knowledge of planning & development laws and Building regulations
Good working knowledge of current opportunities and trends in estate management
