Job Responsibility:
Serves as the managing agent responsible for oversight of off-site owned properties in the various aspects of Property Management and Project Management
Manages, communicates, and facilitates landlord responsibilities for leased and off-site owned building properties within the Real Estate Portfolio
Manages tenant relations where the University is the landlord
Coordinates internal relocations and onboarding of new Highland Hospital and Business tenancy
Responds and manages emergency situations, i.e., floods, power outages, fire alarms, and HVAC Outages
Notifies landlords of project moves and ensures that appropriate documentation is handed off
Facilitates tenant meetings for leased and owned properties
Initiates long-term and blanket purchase orders, approves payments, and creates receipts in Workday/P2P for University vendors
Ensures the well-being of the real estate portfolio
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in property management and evaluations required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent communication, time management, and enterprise software skills, Microsoft Office preferred
Ability to resolve conflict disputes preferred
Familiarity with building trades, Environmental Health and Safety principles, and security preferred
Valid New York State Real Estate license or certification from IREM or BOMI preferred
