Quinovic New Plymouth is seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to join our team in New Plymouth, Taranaki. This is a full-time position based in our New Plymouth office, where you will play a crucial role in managing residential properties and delivering exceptional service to our landlords and tenants. As a Property Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenancies are professionally managed, and all parties experience outstanding customer service. This role is fundamental to upholding Quinovic's reputation for excellence in residential property management.
Job Responsibility
Managing a portfolio of residential properties, including day-to-day operations and landlord/tenant relations
Conducting property inspections and ensuring compliance with Tenancy Agreements and property standards
Handling tenant enquiries, and maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
Coordinating repairs, maintenance and improvements with contractors and service providers
Preparing property documentation, Tenancy Agreements and tenancy records
Marketing vacant properties and liaising with prospective tenants throughout the leasing process
Ensuring all properties comply with relevant legislation
Maintaining accurate records and databases for property and tenant information
Communicating regularly with landlords to provide updates on their property and any issues requiring attention
Building and maintaining positive relationships with landlords, tenants and service providers
Requirements
Experience in residential property management would be an advantage, although applicants with the right attitude and transferable skills will also be considered, with training provided
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
Professional communication skills and a customer-service focused approach
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and use property management software and online systems are essential
Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and financial management
Physical capability to conduct property inspections and site visits
A valid driver's licence is essential
Relevant qualifications in property management desirable
A self-motivated individual who can work autonomously while also enjoying being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
