Job Responsibility

Oversee the management of multiple properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, and manage renovations as required
Create and implement property-specific policies and procedures to increase operational efficiency
Foster positive relationships with tenants by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns
Stay updated with NYC building codes and regulations, managing any violations for timely resolution and compliance
Oversee the leasing process for both commercial and residential units, including marketing properties, conducting showings, and screening prospective tenants
Ensure all lease documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date
Manage property budgets, monitor rent collection and expenses, and report on financial performance
Coordinate with construction crews for property renovations, improvements, and inspections
Review existing insurance coverages and coordinate renewals

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of property management, including residential and commercial leases
strong financial acumen and budgeting expertise
familiarity with Scottish property management laws and regulations
exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships
proven leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team
proficient in property management software and Google Office Suite
excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
experience in property management, ideally in a senior or leadership role
relevant property management certifications (ARLA/Letwell) are a plus

Job Responsibility

Lead day-to-day property management activities, focusing on tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial oversight
collaborate with the property management team, contractors, tenants, and landlords to ensure top-notch service delivery
