We are looking for a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the efficient operation and management of commercial real estate properties in San Francisco, California. In this contract position, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of tenant satisfaction, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all operational procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and has expertise in commercial property management.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise onsite staff and external vendors to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
Oversee property inspections and coordinate maintenance tasks while monitoring vendor performance
Develop and manage budgets, including variance reporting, accruals, and reconciliations
Build strong tenant relationships by conducting meetings, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and cross-training to enhance their skills
Monitor lease compliance and maintain accurate documentation for contracts and tenant records
Implement emergency preparedness plans, conduct drills, and manage incident reporting
Coordinate tenant improvements and assist with project management initiatives
Prepare operational reports, reforecasts, and annual budgets to support financial planning
Ensure compliance with insurance requirements for tenants and vendors
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience managing office, industrial, or retail real estate properties
Proficiency in financial practices, including budgeting, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
Strong computer skills with expertise in Yardi, Excel, and Word
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to supervise staff, resolve issues independently, and enhance tenant satisfaction
Experience in vendor management, contract compliance, and performance tracking
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and math skills
Nice to have:
Certification in property management or related fields (completed or in progress) preferred
