We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties in Merced, California. In this long-term contract role, you will ensure tenant satisfaction, optimize property performance, and uphold compliance with housing regulations and company policies. Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of property operations, including rent collection, lease administration, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day management
Lead and support on-site teams by providing training, assigning responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative work environment
Drive leasing efforts by marketing vacant units, scheduling tours, and handling all leasing documentation to achieve occupancy goals
Monitor property budgets, approve expenditures, and prepare financial reports, including income projections and expense tracking
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, including fair housing laws
Organize community-building events to enhance tenant relationships and promote a sense of belonging
Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize timely repairs, inspections, and overall property upkeep
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on occupancy rates, financial performance, and tenant feedback
Address tenant concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency
Develop strategies to improve property operations and tenant satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential or commercial property management
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with tenants
Financial expertise, including budgeting and preparing financial reports
Familiarity with property management software and CRM platforms
Knowledge of local housing regulations and fair housing laws
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
