Property Management Bookkeeping Consultant - AppFolio Software

• Serve as the initial expert for inbound clients and perform consultations with our Sales Team
• Diagnose client databases and provide an hourly estimate for work needed to get the client's books fully cleaned up and audit ready
• Manage client clean ups in preparation for hand off to Account Manager for recurring services
• Maintain daily communication with clients to keep them updated on the progress of your outstanding projects and answer general questions
• Provide rapid-audits to prospective clients during initial consultation and ultimately provide an hourly estimate for fully clean-up
• Create customized workflows and processes in AppFolio that align with client business goals and objectives
• Train and educate clients on the use of AppFolio and property management best practices
• Work with team members in other departments to resolve accounting and general software issues
• Coordinate project deadlines with other teams to ensure smooth transitions to additional services offered by APM Help
• Help with side projects with our Marketing and Sales Team

• REQUIRED: Must have worked at AppFolio or have been a daily user
• 2+ years of property management bookkeeping experience
• Strong familiarity with the property management industry
• Ability to diagnose and resolve most property management accounting issues
• Strong communication and call handling skills
• Experience as a property manager preferred but not required
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Experience with other property management software platforms (e.g. Buildium, Yardi, Rent Manager) is a plus
