Requirements

2-3 years’ experience in general building maintenance
Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
A good level of IT literacy
A full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
Legal right to work in the UK

Job Responsibility

Supporting and monitoring contractors on site
Conducting routine and scheduled maintenance inspections and basic repairs
Updating information via our electronic online portal
Carrying out a variety of tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, and painting
Identify and report the need for major repairs
Use PPE as required
Undertake regular site audits and escalate any abnormalities

Requirements

Previous experience in property maintenance, repairs, construction, or a recognised trade

Job Responsibility

Attend reactive repair and maintenance appointments
Carry out multi-trade repairs and maintenance works
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
Record materials used and works completed
Take before and after photographs where required
Report progress, variations, and any additional works identified
Deliver excellent customer service when working in residents' homes

Job Responsibility

Act as the first point of contact for maintenance issues across the estate, assessing requests and coordinating resolutions
Track reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring completion to required standards and SLAs
Support statutory compliance by maintaining accurate records (fire safety, electrical testing, water hygiene)
Maintain asset, warranty and service documentation
Carry out regular site checks (virtual or on-site) to identify issues early and support preventative maintenance
Assist with shop fit-outs (new & existing), refurbishments and small works, including scheduling, documentation and supplier coordination
Prepare project packs, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders updated
Support quote collation, purchase orders and basic project budget tracking
