Job Description:

A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ–2 years’ PQE) to join its expanding team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist practice handling a broad range of property disputes for major commercial clients. The role offers a mix of contentious and advisory work, with exposure to high-value matters and the chance to gain experience in court proceedings, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, technical excellence, and professional growth.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and assisting with a range of commercial property disputes, from landlord and tenant issues to development-related claims
Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value litigation and arbitration matters
Handling your own caseload of lower-value disputes under supervision
Advising clients on strategy and risk across all stages of proceedings
Participating in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes
Contributing to business development activities, seminars, and client training

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 years’ PQE) with experience in property or commercial litigation
Strong understanding of litigation processes and the Civil Procedure Rules
Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills
Proactive and client-focused, with a commercial mindset
Keen to develop expertise in complex property disputes within a supportive team environment
