Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Property Inspector. This is a full-time, permanent position based within our Wimbledon team, with travel required across London. You’ll enjoy a structured workweek and the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively. As a Property Inspector, you’ll support the property management team in delivering a high standard of customer service through the efficient, consistent, and timely completion of property inspections. You’ll play a key role in ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, accurately reporting on their condition and identifying any issues that require attention.
Job Responsibility
Attend properties as directed, collecting and managing keys from local offices where required
Carry out thorough routine inspections, recording findings clearly and accurately using company systems
Produce and submit detailed inspection reports within agreed timeframes
Identify and report maintenance issues or risks immediately following property visits
Manage access arrangements and promptly escalate any access issues encountered
Ensure properties are left secure at the end of each visit and report any concerns
Take full responsibility for key handling, ensuring correct sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed
Consistently complete a high volume of inspections while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
Support the property management team in delivering a professional and efficient service to landlords and tenants
Requirements
Experience in a customer-focused or fast-paced environment, ideally within lettings or residential property
Experience dealing with tenants or clients face-to-face, with strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
A proactive approach, with the ability to remain effective under pressure
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally CRM systems
A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across London for property visits
