Job Description:

A specialist property-focused law firm in Nottingham are looking for a Lead Service Charge Solicitor to manage a busy caseload and take day-to-day leadership of Service Charge Litigation Paralegal’s. You’ll handle your own volume caseload while supervising and developing a small group of paralegals. You’ll keep cases moving at pace, step into complex matters when needed, and make confident commercial decisions to maximise recoveries. This role suits someone who’s motivated by performance, efficiency and delivering excellent client outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, fast-paced work, and leading others within a growing property litigation team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a high-volume service charge litigation caseload
  • Supervise paralegals, set standards and ensure deadlines are met
  • Review files, guide decisions and act as the escalation point for the team
  • Analyse performance data, identify delays and drive improvements
  • Maintain strong client/referrer relationships and support with reporting
  • Contribute to process enhancements and support senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Solicitor or Legal Executive with litigation rights (1+ PQE)
  • Experience in property litigation, leasehold law, CPR and debt recovery
  • Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working to KPIs and handling high-volume work
  • Supervisory or team-leading experience is a strong advantage
