We have a fantastic opportunity for a property consultant to join our expanding team within the New Business Centre which is based within our Head Office in Chelmsford. The team provide a pivotal support role to the various Beresfords branches across Essex. This role offers a great career development opportunity for individuals looking to forge a career in Estate Agency or someone experienced in the industry but looking to move into an office-based role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support across the full spectrum of the Estate Agency industry including residential sales, Lettings, Financial Services & our Land and New Homes Department
  • Make outbound calls to prospective buyers and sellers to generate interest and secure appointments for all core business areas
  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries, providing accurate property information and identifying all business opportunity
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with client details, call notes, and follow-up actions
  • Prompt follow up and qualification of website leads and portal enquiries to maximise business opportunity
  • Support marketing campaigns by following up on leads from online listings, social media, and events
  • Meet and exceed agreed individual appointment and conversion targets

Requirements:

  • Proven telephone sales or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with excellent listening and persuasion skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment
  • Good computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Display energy, drive and enthusiasm to deliver a first-class service
  • Professional and personable telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to listen attentively and probe with questions to tailor client needs
  • A team player who is self-motivated and tenacious

  • Drive down taxable value through varying valuation and negotiation methods
  • Prepare well-organized client information and supporting documentation requests. Maintain positive relationships with assessor and tax jurisdiction personnel
  • Prepare assessment appeal support docs and negotiate values with assessors
  • Prepare, attend, and present appeals to the local jurisdictions both informally and formally at the Board hearings
  • Prepare property tax estimates, tax savings reports, and other valuation or tax reports for clients as needed
  • Review and approve client tax bills for payment
  • Travel as required to attend appeal hearings, property inspections, and client meetings
  • Stay up to date on market trends as it relates to real estate and/or property tax
