Office Angels is working in partnership with a client to find a Claims Handler. The role involves managing property claims, communicating with clients, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with policies. The ideal candidate has previous experience in property claims and strong analytical skills.
Job Responsibility:
Handle property claims including fire, water, and storm damage
serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the claims process
collect and review necessary documentation, such as damage reports, repair estimates, and photographs
work closely with adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate repairs
ensure all claims are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on claims activity and outcomes
provide compassionate and professional support to clients, addressing any concerns or questions
Requirements:
Previous experience within an insurance-based claims environment
strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
attention to detail and organisational skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
knowledge of insurance principles and restoration practices
Nice to have:
Experience in property claims handling, particularly in restoration
