Job Description:

As a Property Claims Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers affected by recent weather events across Australia. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires a delicate balance of administrative precision and genuine human connection. Working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster (7:15 AM – 5:30 PM), you will manage claims from end-to-end, ensuring that every customer feels supported while their claim moves efficiently through the system.

Job Responsibility:

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact, providing a compassionate and professional experience for customers during a difficult time
  • Information Management: Accurately gather and document claim details, ensuring all data is entered into the correct channels to facilitate a seamless process
  • Compliance: Ensure all claim handling aligns with policy regulations and internal quality standards
  • Efficiency: Manage high-volume inbound inquiries while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Proven background in inbound customer service, ideally within Financial Services or Insurance
  • Prior experience in claims handling is highly regarded
  • Tech-savvy and able to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining a conversation
  • Exceptional empathy and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
