You will be responsible for checking our properties for cleanliness, identifying any maintenance issues, responding to any shortfalls, and recognising areas requiring remedial attention that could affect the quality of service we provide. You will also ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met and provide constructive feedback to cleaners on performance and areas for improvement. Building strong relationships with both suppliers and cleaners is a key part of the role, along with completing day-to-day administration tasks. You will assist in the preparation of linen for changeover days, take delivery of hire linen from the supplier, and manage the control and return of dirty linen. Covering around 5–7 visits per day, you will be travelling to properties in a work vehicle across our 180-strong portfolio, from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Amble, and inland to Wooler. You’ll be actively involved in the daily operations of the Brand Managed Services housekeeping team, ensuring high standards are upheld to deliver an exceptional guest experience. As part of a rota, you will also provide out-of-hours assistance to property owners and guests, responding to and successfully resolving any guest issues that may arise.
