Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Assistant to support day-to-day property management operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be working onsite Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices and support billing-related activities accurately and on time
  • Use Yardi and Nexus software to manage property records, track requests, and support daily operations
  • Handle tenant inquiries and help resolve tenant-related issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Support day-to-day property management functions across commercial properties
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within property management systems
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
  • Manage multiple priorities while providing strong administrative support to the property management team
  • Conduct property inspections and report issues as needed
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address service requests and property needs
  • Assist with lease administration, including lease documentation and related follow-up
  • Support tenant move-ins and move-outs, including coordination and related paperwork

Requirements

  • Prior invoicing experience required
  • Experience using Yardi and Nexus software is required
  • At least 3 years of experience in property management, including resolving tenant issues
  • Additional experience in commercial property management is preferred
  • Proficiency with property management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Experience conducting property inspections, coordinating with maintenance staff, and supporting lease administration
  • Ability to assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs

Nice to have

Additional experience in commercial property management is preferred
