Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Property Administrator to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this contract role, you will play a key part in managing residential and commercial properties, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have expertise in property management and leasing processes, along with familiarity with industry-specific software.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Coordinate leasing activities, including tenant communication, lease documentation, and occupancy tracking
  • Manage property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Utilize Yardi software to maintain accurate property records and generate reports
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess property conditions and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting for managed properties
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns effectively
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and industry regulations for property management
  • Monitor rent collection processes and follow up on delinquent accounts

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in property management, including residential and commercial properties
  • Strong knowledge of leasing procedures and tenant relations
  • Proficiency in Yardi software or similar property management tools
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with local property regulations and compliance standards
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping
