We are looking for a Property Administrator to support daily property operations and tenant-related activities in Maryland. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can balance administrative coordination, leasing support, and property management responsibilities across residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will help maintain organized records, respond to occupancy needs, and contribute to smooth site operations using sound judgment and strong customer service skills.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate day-to-day administrative functions for assigned properties, ensuring files, correspondence, and operational records remain accurate and current
Assist with leasing activities by preparing documents, supporting applicant and tenant communications, and helping move-ins and renewals progress efficiently
Serve as a point of contact for residents, tenants, vendors, and internal teams by addressing questions and routing issues for timely resolution
Maintain property data and reporting in Yardi Software, including updates related to tenant information, lease details, and operational tracking
Support both residential and commercial property management tasks by monitoring deadlines, organizing service requests, and following up on outstanding items
Help oversee vendor scheduling, work order coordination, and general office processes that keep property operations running smoothly
Prepare routine reports, notices, and administrative documentation in compliance with company policies and property requirements
Contribute to occupancy and retention efforts by delivering attentive service and helping create a positive experience for current and prospective tenants
Requirements
Experience supporting property management operations in residential, commercial, or mixed-use environments
Knowledge of leasing processes, tenant relations, and property administration best practices
Proficiency with Yardi Software for recordkeeping, lease support, or operational reporting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented, service-focused approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with property teams, tenants, and vendors
Familiarity with standard office systems and administrative procedures related to property operations
