We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to support day-to-day commercial property operations in Richmond, Virginia. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing tenant service, administrative coordination, and financial support while keeping property activities organized and on schedule. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with owners, tenants, vendors, and internal leadership to help maintain high service standards across the portfolio.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate daily administrative activities for commercial properties, including tracking service requests, organizing work orders, and maintaining accurate property records
Serve as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and property owners by addressing inquiries promptly and helping resolve operational issues efficiently
Assist with financial tasks such as processing invoices, monitoring expenses, and supporting budget-related documentation for property operations
Prepare recurring reports and updates for senior leadership and ownership groups to provide clear visibility into property performance and activity
Support vendor and contractor engagement by organizing service agreements, monitoring compliance documents, and following up on bid and contract materials
Conduct property visits and inspections to identify maintenance concerns, document findings, and recommend practical improvements
Help oversee lease-related administrative matters by maintaining organized files and supporting documentation tied to agreements and tenant obligations
Contribute ideas that improve property management processes, service delivery, and overall operational efficiency
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in property management, with commercial property exposure strongly preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, clients, vendors, and contractors
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience supporting invoice processing, expense tracking, or budget preparation is preferred
Familiarity with property management platforms such as Yardi or similar real estate software is an asset
Knowledge of contracts, lease documentation, and property administration practices is preferred
Nice to have
