Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized Property Administrator to join our team in Dorchester, Massachusetts. As part of this contract position, you will handle administrative tasks related to property management, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional service to residents. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the recertification of residents’ income in accordance with HUD Section 8 regulations
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments with residents, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Review residents’ financial documentation and request additional information as needed
  • Verify submitted information by sending out proper documentation for validation
  • Utilize property management software, such as RealPage OneSite or Yardi, to maintain accurate records
  • Maintain confidentiality while interacting with residents, addressing concerns with professionalism
  • Build positive relationships with residents, including senior citizens and families, to foster a welcoming community
  • Organize and handle a high volume of paperwork, both physical and electronic, ensuring efficient filing systems
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve workflow

Requirements

  • Proficiency in property management software, such as RealPage OneSite or Yardi
  • Familiarity with HUD Section 8 regulations and income recertification processes
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of paperwork and electronic files
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups, including senior citizens and families
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive resident information
  • Experience in coordinating schedules and appointments
  • Knowledge of accounting functions, accounts payable/receivable, and financial processes
