Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Property Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting the daily operations of residential properties, with a focus on ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining positive relationships with residents. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a personable approach to customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments with residents to review and update income information in compliance with HUD Section 8 regulations
  • Conduct thorough reviews of residents' income and request required documentation for verification
  • Send out and track verification forms to ensure accurate processing of resident information
  • Utilize RealPage Onesite software or similar platforms, such as Yardi, for efficient property management tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information related to residents
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with senior citizens and families, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs
  • Organize and manage large volumes of paperwork, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper filing and tracking
  • Handle inbound calls and reception duties, providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors
  • Process work orders efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of property-related issues

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with HUD Section 8 regulations and recertification processes
  • Proficiency in property management software such as RealPage Onesite or Yardi
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in working with senior citizens and families
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with experience managing high volumes of paperwork
  • Prior experience in customer service, including answering calls and handling inquiries
  • Knowledge of work order processing and receptionist duties
  • Competence in both physical and electronic filing systems
