Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of responsibilities, including operational and financial tasks, while fostering strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and property owners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to bring your organizational skills and attention to detail to the management of commercial properties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial properties, ensuring smooth management of tenant needs and property maintenance
  • Perform regular property inspections and provide actionable recommendations for improvements
  • Manage service contracts, track bid packages, and monitor vendor compliance requirements
  • Process invoices and assist with budget preparation to support financial operations
  • Maintain accurate records for leasing agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare ownership reports and provide administrative support to senior management
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues in accordance with lease obligations
  • Coordinate work orders, service requests, and rent payments to ensure efficient administrative operations
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance property management processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in property management, HIGHLY prefered in a commercial setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with invoice processing and budget preparation is a plus
  • Knowledge of contract and leasing agreements is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi is highly desirable
